Let’s Roll! Looking Forward to 2024

As we come to the end of another year, it’s natural to pause and take stock of all that’s happened. At Scaldcrow, we’re no different. In fact, this year has been a particularly exciting one for us as we’ve seen incredible growth and advancement within our company. We’ve got big plans for 2024, and we can’t wait to share them with you. So, come with us as we reflect on our journey over the past year, and look forward to the exciting things that lie ahead.

Without Further Ado:

At Scaldcrow, our goal has always been to push the boundaries of what’s possible in the world of tabletop gaming, particularly from the axiom of full immersion. This year, we’ve taken huge strides towards achieving that goal. Our biggest accomplishment by far has been the development of the Skinny Complete, with a 2024 release. This new set of master rules for the Worlds of Pulp provides an unprecedented level of flexibility and customization. It allows gamers to seamlessly integrate all previous WOP products and create truly unique gaming experiences. It includes guidelines for World Building, and our own Mass Combat system, called the Combat Codex. Of course, there is streamlining of existing rules, and the premiere of exciting new ones. It’s been a massive undertaking, but we’re confident that it will be well worth the effort.

But that’s not all we’ve been up to. We’re also thrilled to announce the upcoming release of d6 Chronicles – a platform that will showcase and advance all previous WOP products, with tips, characters, and even short adventures. This is a major milestone for us, as it’s the first time we’ve launched a product specifically designed to bring together and build upon all of our previous work. We’re excited to see how it will be received and confident that it will be a valuable resource for gamers everywhere.

Of course, none of this would be possible without our amazing team. We’ve grown significantly over the past year, adding talented individuals to our staff who have helped us achieve our goals and expand our reach. Everyone here is passionate about tabletop gaming, and it shows in the work we do. We’re a tight-knit group, and we’re proud of the culture we’ve created.

But perhaps the most gratifying part of this journey has been seeing the response from the gaming community. We’re thrilled by the positive feedback we’ve received and the way that our products have brought joy to so many people. We’re constantly amazed by the creativity and passion of the tabletop gaming community, and it inspires us to keep pushing forward.

As we close out this year and look ahead to the next, we’re filled with excitement and gratitude. For us, the coming year represents a chance to build upon the progress we’ve made and continue to innovate in the world of tabletop gaming. We can’t wait to share it with all of you.
