Geek Opera: For Passionate Gamers
Hello everyone,
I’m T. Glenn Bane, the Director of Scaldcrow Games, and I’d like to extend a heartfelt invitation to join our Geek Opera community. Over the past year, I’ve been sharing tips, tricks, and tables with the gaming community through this platform. While I’d love to have you all at my gaming table, it’s more practical to share content that can enrich your own gaming experiences.
Since last year, I’ve been offering free generic adventures, story hooks, immersive genre dives, and character backstory and world-building tips. Gaming is my passion, and there’s no group I cherish more than fellow gamers. Geek Opera was created to bring like-minded individuals together to share ideas and foster a sense of community.
I’m sharing articles reminiscent of those I enjoyed in the past, back when role-playing games were a niche interest. I want to hear from you about what topics you’d like to explore. Feel free to email me or comment on Geek Opera articles (I don’t respond to social media questions as they often aim for social reactions rather than meaningful conversations).
Why should you subscribe to Geek Opera? It’s simple: I want to connect with open-minded gamers. We don’t have to agree on everything—sometimes I don’t even agree with myself! Subscription is FREE, just visit Scaldcrow.com and subscribe. I ensure a respectful and civilized environment by removing spam and instances of hate or shaming.
Will it always be free? Yes, the articles will remain free. In the future, I plan to introduce a paid subscription service that will offer enhanced content, including all my new products upon release. But that’s for later. To subscribe, go to the bottom of any page at SCALDCROW GAMES and click subscribe. Go a look over some of the articles you may have already missed.
With over 40 years of gaming experience and 18 years of writing TTRPGs and supplements, I invite you to subscribe, pull up a chair at my virtual table, and let’s talk about games and gaming.
Warm regards, T. Glenn Bane
