Holy Crow! Its Happening in 2022

Happy New Year Crows!

We are there again, celebrating the end of another year, and making plans for the year ahead. First, lets take a look at a few things that have been done this year.

Worlds of Pulp: Wild West Horse Opera RPG is available in PDF and in print! Thank you so much to everyone who helped to make that possible. Additionally, Worlds of Pulp Six Gun Red—Characters and Stories for Wild West Horse Opera was completed. We are very proud of this product but mainly of the incredible body of work that was delivered by contributors.

With some amazing design work from I2Kre8 Design, the Scaldcrow Website is up and running. I could not be happier or more impressed with this site. The challenge is now mine to try and perform at the same level. I accept this challenge, because the site and everything that it makes possible is for you guys and that means that it is a privalege.

We all came through Covid-19 and I hope as many of you as possible are unscathed by it. Sadly, we are not out of the woods yet. Stay optimistic crows, prudence will be rewarded in the end. Look after the people around you, and support each other every way you can.

Now let’s look at the upcoming year. 2022 is already promising to be exciting here at the Scaldcrow Bunker.  We have some very exciting releases planned. Here are a few to get you started.

• Classic Pulp Characters: Weird and Gritty™ is getting an update. This book is being brought forward into the Extra Crunch rules. The book will also include items of lore and a basic metropolis, District City, which will expand your game world beyond Rotwang City, Sapphire City, and Cape Noire; it provides a place that you can populate with pulp characters that may not fit easily into the other cities. Hint…This year will introduce new pulp characters.
• Worlds of Pulp: Tournament—Plot Event Table™: Using random dice rolls, this table will provide story elements that will aid in the construction of tournaments and contests. A little completion in your game is good. Pit the Characters against colorful opponents in structured trials. Using popular tropes that are sure make your game that much more exciting, this table is sure to thrill.
• Worlds of Pulp: Rogue Space™ This is a game setting for military science fiction in a war torn and heavily contested region of space. How can humanity survive? Build a nation and change the course of the stars.
• We are looking forward to introducing a new edition of the Core Rules, titled The Skinny™. This will also be the updated Extra Crunch rules.
• Finally, there will be a new series of books called Worlds of Pulp: Geek Opera—Campaign Companion™. These books will contain content for each of our campaign books, from Davey Beauchamp’s Amazing Pulp Adventures™ to Wild West Horse Opera™ and Rogue Space™.
